Ying

Interior door with wooden jamb The Ying door collection, designed by Steve Leung, blends Italian know-how with inspirations deriving from Chinese culture, revealing a continuum between tradition and modernity. The lower part of the frame is the result of a woodworking process inspired by the traditional Chinese technique sǔn mǎo (榫 卯) and is characterized by a surface with geometric carvings that enhance the two side inserts. The upper part of the door then emphasizes the flexibility of the design and the ability to adapt to different interior contexts, thanks to a wide range of finishes.
